Valentine Cards and Ultrasound #2

Seth and I get to have another ultrasound on Wednesday! We are hoping that the baby will be nice and let us see if it will be a boy or a girl. I hope that in 24 hours we will know!

On another note here is the start to my Valentine's Day cards that I will be sending out and selling.

They are made with transparancey paper. They were very fun to make. The tall long ones were a new style for me and I really liked how they turned out.

December Chicago Trip 2009

Well our annual Chicago trip came and went without Jenn. She is on bed rest and had to stay at home. So instead of staying in Chicago for two night CAsi and I just went for the day. We hit all our regular stops...the Container Store, Maggiano's...

Here is Casi holding Hanukkah paper. The store was almost out of all Christmas paper. We now know that we can not go late next year. If anyone has gone with us (Brook and Elin) you know how pack this store is with paper...nothing this year!

Her we are at Maggiano's....We had some yummy Creme Brulee...this made me buy a torch to make my own! (Thanks Jenn for the Birthday gift card to crate and barrel)

Finally the town all a glow!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas...

To small to tell!

Well we went and had the ultra sound and she said she really could not tell, because it was still a little early. She said MAYBE a boy! But she really did not want to say. All that matters to Seth and I is that is has two legs, feet, arms, hands, and all its other parts and pieces. Here is a picture...

Here are so photos from our wedding. We finally got the pictures yesterday and I just took some pictures of the pictures...so it may not look fabulous.

Pink or Blue?

Seth and I are hoping to find out on Wednesday if we will be having a boy or a girl!!! We have a boy and a girl name picked out the babies initials will be ICO. I picked the initials because when my dad work on the Culver Lake Patrol he had CLP on either side of his shirt collar. My sister's and my initials were CLP and we always said we were with him at all times. Well to carry on the tradition Seth has ICO on either side of his uniform and he will always have someone with this too. Tune in later to see what we find out!

On another note I am selling cards at a craft show on November 21. from 9-2 at Indian Trail Elementary school in LaPorte! I have been busy making Christmas cards and other everyday cards. Here is the card that Seth thinks will be my best seller.

The stamp inside is from Papertreyink Christmas collection called Holiday Button Bits. I came have been admiring their stuff for awhile and I thought I would give it a try. LOVE IT! High quality!!! My other two cards are also using stamps from the same set. I think you can see that you are to use buttons with the stamps. On the santa I used cotton for his beard instead! So
cute!

I hope you have a great day and I hope we find something out on Wednesday!!!

Yum Yum

With the weather being cold outside Seth and I thought it would be nice to have grilled cheese and tomato soup! Before we made dinner we ran to the Memory Zone in Plymouth so I could pick up some card making supplies. While I was there my secret pal had already dropped off my gift for October. I got some cute Halloween stickers and ribbon and a baby hand kit! At the bottom of my bag was something wrapped in tissue. When I opened it I let out a bit whoop!!! Wrapped up was a candy corn dish full of mini gummy bears! So I added those to my dinner meal!

Seth and I got in a nice walk tonight with Chubs! Chubs loves this weather because he does not get hot with all his hair!

Here are some more of my fall cards! I sold out of them at school today and am making more!

And Baby Makes 4!

Seth and I have some exciting news to share. We are expecting our first child in April. We heard the heart beat on Thursday and it made it official! Chubs is not sure about everything that is going on. But we are reassuring him that we will still love him.

Seth got his hand caught in the hay elevator on our farm and had to have surgery to have part of his left ring finger removed. It was not alot but it is causing him a lot of pain. He also can not go back to work for at least three more weeks. Being a Conservation Officer does not allow him to come back less the 100%! He got the stitches out on Thursday and has to wash it twice a day.

I have been out of the card making loop since before the wedding. But fall always inspires me to create. I copied this ghost card from a card maker that I read her blog on a bi-weekly basis. It was quite easy.

Happy Sunday and Go COLTS!!

The Pink Elephant Challenge #22 and Pile it On!

Happy Wednesday to everyone!!

Here is my take on The Pink Elephant Challenge #22. We had to do Star and Strips. I made a star out of card stock and then I decorated with strips of ribbon. This is a great way to use some of those scraps of ribbon. I added a button and a piece of green floss for the middle. I hope you enjoy my card!!!

Smiles,
Cami

P.S. I also decided to add this to Pile It On Challenge!!!
