Well Look What's In The Mailbox...

Brook sent me an email saying that she had ordered a baby shower gift and to be on the lookout for it...

Well hello little package in my mailbox!

From the store in Bloomington that I would like to visit!

Quick peek inside...what could it be?

She sent two Gro Baby Vanilla Snap Diapers...woot woot!

This is Chubs wondering..."What Tater and Chloe did not send me anything?"

THANK YOU BROOK!! It is very kind of you to send us these goodies! I know how much you love the snaps! We just can't wait for her to get here! Only six more weeks!

On another note by BFF is expecting a little one this week...can't wait to see if it is a boy or girl?

Challenges for Week of 2-15-10

I made this card using all pattern paper from a pack stack called Nana's Kids by DCWV. The flower is a 4x4 quickutz die and the sediment is from the everyday button stamp set from Papertreyink. (LOVE their stamps)! The ribbon is bubble gum pink from I think Walmart. This cards fits into these challenges this week...

Sweet Sunday Sketch 56...this is the sketch I had to use...

Cupcake Craft Challenges...keep it simple

Pile It On...flowers

The Pink Elephant Challenge...ribbon

Our Creative Corner...something old, something new. Old would be the flower die...new the rhinestones!

Paper Sundaes...glittery spring...very small amount of glitter in the center of my flower.

Cloth Wipes Update

Well I have finished making the cloth wipes. Some of them are not so pretty (the sewing part). I had to watch the DVD on how to use my sewing machine.

I got it as a bridal show gift last year and just now am using it. After watching the video twice (yes twice) I came up with these...

Seth took some photos of me sewing...

Yummy Dinner for Two

I know that like many couples Seth and I sometimes struggle to find something yummy for dinner. Tonight we decided to make chicken potpie. We had everything to make it put the crescent rolls to go on top. We use deli chicken or turkey, cut thick, frozen veggies, cream of turkey, and then crescent rolls to go on top. We searched the Internet and found a biscuit recipe by Paula Dean that we thought sounded easy and yummy.

Here is Seth mixing all the ingredients together!

Seth rolling out the dough!

Covering our pies!

Oh...it was so yummy!

I think we will be trying this yummy dessert for Valentines Day

I had another day of no school...I made this card.

Time to get the JELLO out for dessert!

Diapers

Second post of the day! I have had a few people ask about the cloth diapers we will be using. Our friends Brook and Corey have been using them on their little girl Lily! Seth and I only have two shells and about eight inners right now. We have been buying them from a little shop in Granger called The Orange Tree. They can also be bought online from The Natural Baby.

Here are a few pictures of our diapers so far...

I also am a fan and reader of this blog...

Jenn might hurt me for posting this picture. But here is a picture of the two of us from her baby shower today. She is due in March and I am due in Apirl!
