Day 2 of snowmobiling plus the flu

Hello

We rode 75 miles today! IT was not to cold! Right after I posted my blog last night Seth got really sick. We still are not sure if he got food poison or if he has the flu. He still does not feel 100%. Hope everyone is having a great start to their week!

Seth and I are in Cadillac Michigan snowmobiling! We rode about 50 miles today and went to dinner! We have all day Monday and Tuesday to ride also. Seth is trying to grow a beard. Since he can not have one for work! Here is a self picture of me! It is about 23 degrees here and suppose to snow tonight! Woo Hoo! On non snowmobiling topic I got the Revolution for Christmas and have not yet been able to use it!! So sad. When we get back on Wednesday I will be up to the scrapbook store getting some new dies and maybe I can do a mini album on our trip!!!! Love it!!

Cookies and Find It

Hello!!

I have been making cookies and I thought I would share with you some of my sugar cookies. I made the dough, bake,ice them, and Seth makes the icing! It is so yummy!
If you are still looking for a Chirstmas gift here is a picture of my new find it. It was one of my birthday presents from Seth. My students love them and SEth and I have been sitting around trying to find all the pieces in the it! Good family fun, car fun, etc...

Here are my shoes after todays race in Chicago! It was so muddy and slush ice that the organizers of the race changed the race from an 8K to a 5K. Only bad thing about that was, Lisa and I did not know this till the end. Lisa ran through the finish line and kept going and was being yelled at to stop so she could turn in her shoe chip. She kept sayin, "but I still have two miles to go!" It was kind of nice that is was made shorter, gave us some time to stop into the Container store and crate and barrel!!!

On another note this is the last week of school and then a two week break!!! YEAH!!!

Till Next Year

Oh, the fun we had. We were laughing so hard I thought we might have gotten kicked out of The Big Bowl! IF you can see in the back of my card all our bags. We have so much fun! It was nice this year, we stayed at Jenn's brothers apartment that over looked Rush street and had a view of the lake. I did a race on Sunday and got my best time of the year. I have one more this weekend (its an 8K almost five miles) I love Chicago!!!

Thanksgiving

We had a yummy Thanksgiving! Our turkey was just right and leftovers are always good! Today Casi and I went up to Pages in Time at 5:45 a.m. We got totes for our Quickutz machine for only $5.00 and the Vixen alphabet for $9.99 (i love this alphabet)! Here is a picture of what I did after I got back from The Memory Zone, (yes I went to two scrapbooking stores today) I started making cards for the craft show!!

I am selling some of my cards and goodies at a craft show at my school on 12-6. I will not be there. I will be in Chicago!!!! I go every year with friends and it is always the first full weekend in December. We don't change the date. We have so much fun!!! I can't wait! I thought I would post some of my cards. I am in need of a warmest wishes stamp for my mitten card. I will take any ideas to make them better. These are just my test cards. I know Kelly you have some helpful ideas. Please. Fall Walk

Chubs and I have been walking after school. He has finally gotten to the point that he no longer lays down half way through the walk. This was our view the other day!! Love those colors!!!

A update on my 5K last weekend. I got first in my age group!! It was so much fun!! Lisa and I have three more to go this year. Thanksgiving Morning in Niles, and two in December in Chicago!!!

Halloween

Seth and I went to a Halloween party at our friends Corey and Brook's last weekend. This is what we went as. Me a laundry basket and Seth as a duck hunter. We are going to another party on Halloween Night. I plan on being the same thing and Seth is not sure what he is going to be. This party will be inside and his duck outfit will be to hot.

On another note Jen, Casi, and I will be bridesmaide dress shopping on saturday afternoon. Fun, Fun. First though on Saturday morning Lisa, Sue, and I will be doing a 5K race in Plymouth. I have not worked out in a week. I have been feeling yucky! So I will take it slow on Saturday!!!

I was the lucky winner of a very cool bucket full of scrapbooking goodies. I posted some cards that I made using my quickutz. Kelly then put all our name in a bag and pulled out a winner and it was me!!! I got these leaves and flowers in my RAK (random act of kindness) prize!


I made this birthday bucket for a teacher I work with. Her birthday is today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LONI!! I thought she could reuse the bucket for one of her grandchildren!

Yummy Times Three

Today at school one of my students came up to me at the start of the day and pulled these out of his backpack. I had mentioned once that I loved these kind of apples. As Brook would say, WOOT, WOOT, for me!!!

I do not like candy corn, but I made these little jars full of candy corn and peanuts. I hope to sell them at school on Monday! I think the little spider on top will be the real seller. He is so cute!

Thanksgiving Day

Walk, Walk Faster!!!

My butt hurts!!! I have been training for a 5K. The first one is in Chicago on the 18th and one on Thanksgiving Day. Now please don't think I am running. NO WAY!!! I am a walker!!!! My friend from school is doing them with me and she is a runner. Go Lisa Go!!! I will keep you posted on what other body parts hurt in the next few days!!
