Birthday Cards

Hello!!!

Paper Crafts is holding their annual PaperCraft Idol! I entered these two cards. There are some outstanding cards in the competition.






This card was made with the Quickutz cupcake 4 x 4 die! I used embossing paste with glitter mixed in for the icing! (Thanks Sue for showing me the embossing paste)




This card was made with scraps and a Stampendous I used my Copics to color the cat and cake.

I think I might try and add a few more cards to the Idol contest before the due date of June 22nd!

Happy Birthday to Casi!!

Forgot to tell my sister HAPPY BIRTHDAY in my earlier post!!!! Happy 24th birthday Casi...love you!

Copics, Cards, and maybe a Class

It has been a few days since my last blog entry! So I will make this one pop!! I have some cards to show you and a cute picture of Seth and our nephew! I have been throwing around the idea of having a card class at my school next year once a month. I have heard from people that they would attend! I was thinking of making 4 or 5 card a month and have a theme. I would charge a flat rate for the class.

I have really been selling my cards at school. It feels so great to hear someone say that the card they sent to their friend or loved one really made them happy!!! Well on to my pics...



Seth and our nephew Ryker! Ryker is obsessed with tractors. He loves to come to our house because we have two big tractors, a bobcat, and a lawn tractor!!




I am tutoring a young lady who is in seventh grade. To help learn about cm to mm, I had her make this card. She really enjoyed herself!

These are my new favorite card making tool...COPICS!!!!! They are so wonderful and really make it look like you did not even color your stamped image!!!

Something New For Me

I just bought my first stamp set from Pink Cat Studio. I bought the Lily at the Beach set and I can not wait for it to get her! I also bought 14 Copic markers. I have been wanting some for a while now and went ahead today and ordered 14 different shades! Let the fun begin!!!

Roses and 4 down 36 to go!

Last week was teacher appreciation week and Seth sent me beautiful red roses! They smell wonderful. I love that man!!

I got an order for 40 cards this week. I have 6 down and 34 more to go. The nice thing is that I know what all the cards are going to look like. I am making about 5-6 different designs!

I will have to add a picture of the roses later! I will also add the pile of card pictures too.

I am super excited for Sunday! It is my family and friends bridal shower! Should be good times!

Cards and More Cards!

1. I have been very creative this past week. I had an order for some cards and that got me really creating!

2. I am so sad, because I will not be able to attend little Lily's welcome to Brook and Corey's world party. It is the same day as my bridal shower! Boo Hoo!!!

3.Only 16 more days of school woot woot!!! Well now on to some cards...

Cubs, Cards, and Kelly!

1. Casi, Val, and I went to the Cubs came Sunday! It was fun, other than the guy that sat next to me. You can see him in the one photo!! He had a little to drink!!

2. My dear friends Brook and Corey are on their way home with baby Lily! Check out her blog!

3. I had my secret pal reveal tonight! Being around so many creative people really made me want to go home and create. I did just don't have a camera to post my cards. (A new camera is on my gift registry for our wedding)
